Events in Sequence:
5th June 2024
My internet went down at about 3:00 PM
Immediately called up the Jio call Centre to raise a ticket (Service Request Number – SR000014HF) and requested them to get it fixed quickly. I called 3 times the same day, but got the response that engineers are not available.
When the Service Request was raised got 2 SMS messages:
The 1st message received was @3.28 PM

The 2nd message received was @3.31 PM

With reference to Service Request number SR00001YI4HF for your JioFiber Service ID connection having JioFixedVoice Number +914035518210, we have scheduled an appointment with a Jio service engineer at your premises on 08-Jun-2024 between 18:00:00 – 19:00:00.

Called up the Ji0 call centre for resolution of my issue and got the same response that engineers are not available.
Then called up a service engineer, Srikanth, Cell Number – 98854 21947, who had earlier fixed an issue. He said he will check and let me know.
After a little while he asked me to send the photo of router. After seeing that he told me that it is an old one and needs to be replaced.
Then he referred me to another person Mr.Yaminraj – Cell Number – 90109 05863. Mr.Raj called me and told that it is not possible to replace the router. He suggested me to cancel the current connection and then take a new connection.
I was in urgent need of internet and agreed. He said he will cancel the existing connection and will get a new one organized and told me to pay Rs.3536/-. Once paid he said he will get the connection done by the same evening.
He told me that he had cancelled the previous connection. But I did not get any notification of the cancellation. He said sometimes it can get delayed and nothing to bother about. Knowing Jio to be such a big organization I left it at that.
I requested him for the refund of Rs.1,000/- for the cancellation of the old connection and that is what I was promised when this connection was taken about 5 years ago. He said the cancellation will take 2-3 days and the refund will come after that.
Then I made the payment in 2 installments from my GPay account at 2:35 PM. The following are the UPI Transction IDs: 415816375097 for Rs. 3,000/- and another UPI Transaction Id: 415816351555 for Rs.536/-. I sent him my Aadhar copy via Whatsapp and requested for a speedy connection. He said he will get it done quickly.
Unfortunately, there was rain and they could not do it the same day.
7th June 2024
Meanwhile I was in touch with Mr.Srikanth and he said that Mr.Raj will surely get it done. I was following with both of these people but nothing was coming forward. At about 12:45 PM Mr.Raj told me that an technician has started and will reach me in short time. I waited for about 30 minutes and called back Mr. Raj. He said the technician had come and checked in the box and there were no slots available. But the technician did not meet me and I am not sure if he really came. Because earlier too, the first time about 5 years ago when I was given a connection the technician came and met me and then checked for slots.
Mr.Raj called me up and said that he was coming and will help me. In my colony I know there are 3-4 poles from where the connections were being given. The one I had earlier was just near my house. Mr.Raj came and checked 2 poles and said that slots were not available. I told him as the old connection was cancelled he could connect from that slot. But he said that the company policy is that once a connection is cancelled, they have to leave the slot for 100 days. It was hard to believe, but I had no option. At this point I requested him to return my money.
Then he said that he will help me get a new connection from Airtel Xstream as he knows some people there. He also called Mr.Srikanth and asked him to connect me with their common friend. Mr.Raj and Mr.Srikanth called their common friend Mr.Vishal and said that he would get me a connection in Airtel. Now I had no option but to agree as Mr.Raj was not returning my money.
The Airtel Xstream person took my Aadhar details from Mr.Raj and booked a connection in my name when Mr.Raj said that he would transfer Rs.3536/- toMr.Vishal and I would continue getting the same type of broadband and I will not lose anything.
The Airtel Xstream person Mr.Vishal promised me for a connection by the same evening, which didn’t happen. I got the Airtel connection only on 9th June, 2024, Sunday evening. To my shock I found that the account balance was Rs.0 and that I had to pay the amount on the next billing date of 8th July 2024. I found that as my Airtel mobile postpaid phone was over 20 years, they connected it directly without charging any advance money payment.
I called up Mr.Raj but he didn’t take my call. I then went back to Mr.Srikanth who was not taking my call but he responded on whatsapp. He assured me that he wiil get my money refunded from Mr.Raj. I followed up with him on the same for 2 days, 8th and 9th June 2024, but nothing happened and when I called him he did not take my call.
I knew that I was cheated by the 3 people involved, 2 from Jio and 1 from Airtel.
I then called the Jio call center to find out the status of my services request and again got the message that no engineers were available. The same story like a parrot. I then request them t cancel my connection to refund my Rs.1,000/- deposit money. Not sure how long they will take to cancel. Though I received a message that my cancellation is in progress and that somebody will call me.

ABSOLUTELY BAD SERVICE. THE SUPPORT AND SALES GUYS TOGETHER TOOK Rs.3536/- FROM ME AND NOW THEY DON’T RESPOND ON THE CALL. THEY ARE NOT RETURNING MY MONEY. REFUSE TO TAKE MY CALLS.
THEY SAID MY ROUTER WAS OLD AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, WHICH WILL BE CHANGED ONLY BY GETTING A NEW CONNECTION. I WENT AHEAD WITH THIS OPTION AND PAID THEM Rs.3536/- FOR THE NEW CONNECTION. AFTER THAT FOR 2 DAYS THEY STARTED GIVING ALL TYPES OF EXCUSES FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO INSTALL THE NEW CONNECTION.
AFTER THAT THEY STOPPED TAKING MY CALLS. I EVEN CALLED THE CALL CENTER FOR SERVICING MY ISSUE. THE STANDARD REPLY ALWAYS WAS THERE IS NO SERVICE TECHNICIAN AVAILABLE.
AFTER 2 DAYS THEY STOPPED RESPONDING TO ME. i HAVE BEEN CHEATED OF Rs.3536/- BY THE SALES AND SUPPORT PEOPLE.

I have been a Jio Fiber customer since June 2022 on the Rs. 599+GST plan. For the last six months, I wasn’t watching TV due to my TV being out of order. On 13th May, I returned the set top box. Ten days later, I bought a new TV to watch the ICC T20 match and requested reinstallation of the set top box. On 30th May, a Jio engineer came but refused to install it, stating I didn’t have a voucher. After consulting with a customer executive, I changed my plan to Rs. 399+GST by paying Rs. 470 on 30th May. Later, I was told to change back to Rs. 599+GST, which I did by paying Rs. 707 on 1st June. I was assured of getting the set top box by 2nd June but didn’t receive it. Despite contacting Jio customer care, local Jio engineer, and local Jio store manager, my issue remains unresolved. I sent an email on 5th June, but my problem persists. I request immediate attention to provide the voucher and activate my STB without further delay. Thank you for your prompt attention.

I had jio fiber connection, used for 1 and half year and applied for relocation,
after waiting for two weeks am getting update that there is no feasability in my new area, and also charged me with 502 rupees for that month where i had not used even one single KB of data,
Inspite of so many complaints and bad service, again i choose Jio Airfiber and paid an advance of 1000 for priority connection which mentioned me TAT of 48 hours, a person name Hitesh contacted me and requested to pay 500 extra as bribe to fasten the process and get the installation done within 6 hours of booking, i paid him that extra amount also and now he has blocked my no. and not responding to my calls and messages, i called uo jio CC on18008969999 it doesnt have the option of connecting to Customer care and the call ends automatically after few IVR options, JIO app has many option of Chat, whatsApp and Jio call still no use because they all end up with IVR and not giving any solution,
i had to run to 3 jio stores and 2 Jio Service centres and they are blaming the Filed team and field team is saying that nobody has assign them my case or installation,

Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Very Poor Service and Request for Immediate Disconnection and Refund
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the JioFiber postpaid connection (+91-6513137140) that I have taken on 23rd June 2024. Since the day I subscribed to your 150 Mbps plan (999 plan + GST), I have been experiencing significant issues with the internet connectivity and speed, which has caused me immense mental agony and harassment.
On 3rd July 2024, I lodged a complaint (Complaint No. SR00001ZH29N) with your customer care department regarding the slow internet speed. Following this, Mr. Prem Raj (mobile number – 9798250077) visited my premises to address the issue. However, after checking a few things, he informed me that there is a shortage of routers and that the problem of receiving less speed cannot be resolved until a new router is provided by jiofibre company. Mr. Prem Raj assured me that he would return the next day to resolve the problem but has since stopped responding to any of our calls.
Today is 8th July 2024, and my problem remains unresolved. It is highly disappointing that I have to suffer due to the shortcomings of JioFiber’s equipment. This negligence on the part of your support team is unacceptable, especially when I am paying for a service that I am not receiving.
Therefore, I request you to take the following actions immediately:
Disconnect my JioFiber connection within 24 hours.
Refund the amount I have paid for the 150 Mbps plan (999 plan + GST).
Failure to address this issue promptly will compel me to escalate this matter further, including filing a complaint with the consumer protection authorities.
I hope you will take immediate action to resolve this issue without any further delay.

I was usinf Jio sim bearing no 6379279163.obtained from Mumbai several years ago. its prepaid sim. since I live in High altitude dist Nilgiris in S India connectivity will be erratic due frequent disruptions due to rain today I was having chat online with one executive by Name Ms Moupriya, made request to deactivate my pre paid sim , I felt she was teasing me by wasting my precious time by asking several questions which lasted for more than 25mts ,except my Mob no and Aadhar card details I was unable to give more details I am sure one could get other details from my Adhhar no instead of helping she kept chat on as if she was teasing me I wish I could attach chat screen pic to prove harrasment I am a senior citizen I am hurt with the attitude by chat executive .Its time they help us instead harrasing us Since its prepaid sim I am not the loser,I need not renew my subscription i tried to help jio.
Pl address this issue to avoid harrasment when jio doesnt like disconnection of account

Please check the order id with my registered number. We had ordered a washing machine on 10th Aug 2024 which was delivered on 11th Aug 2024. However no one has come for installation. I have registered complaint on 16-Aug-2024. However no resolution from JIo.
I have calling the Jio customer care daily but all they say:
1)Maafi chahte hai
2) Aap nishchint rahe
3) Hum samaj sakte hai
As a last resort, Iam writing this email to you to get the installation done ASAP else you van refund the amount and take the washing machine away.

I raised Complain with JIO and they are simply closing that I have signal and there is no proper response from them. I have reopened the request 3 times and no luck.
