I bought a OnePlus TV (Y1S Pro – 43 inches) on October 18, 2022, with order number M112210186104528661.
On September 28, 2024, the TV stopped working. I filed a complaint with OnePlus customer care, and a local engineer attended to the issue, charging Rs 944 as a visiting fee under complaint number C-IN2410182740.
It was determined that the TV display was not functioning. Since two years had not yet passed, this should have been covered under warranty according to the information on the OnePlus TV website, which states:
What is the warranty of OnePlus TV?
We offer a one-year comprehensive warranty on OnePlus TVs and a two-year warranty on the panel from the date of delivery. Source: OnePlus Warranty Policy
The engineer reviewed the invoice and agreed that the issue was under warranty. He took pictures and assured me that the display would be available within 7 days, but mentioned an additional charge of Rs 1600 for transportation of part. I argued against the charges, as TV was still under warranty but they say it is Company Policy, else no service would be made available.
However, nearly 40 days have passed without any action taken on my complaint by OnePlus. When I call customer care, they simply say my complaint is being escalated but provide no substantial response and consistently make non-sensical excuses.
I strongly advise against purchasing any OnePlus product due to their lack of after-sale service. They provide poor customer support as well, with staff who seem trained to mislead customers repeatedly!

It’s been 47 days since I filed a complaint regarding my OnePlus TV, which is still under warranty, and there has been no resolution. Many users on social media are stating that OnePlus engages in warranty fraud. You can see more about it here: https://x.com/kamlesh8938/status/18568304406082972297877.
The initial resolution date was set for October 6, 2024, but it has now been pushed to November 28, 2024. It seems that OnePlus needs two months to address a warranty issue, likely because they aren’t making much profit overall. They are charging Rs 1652 for logistics and Rs 944 as Service Charge, which seems unreasonable for a product under warranty!

The service of OnePlus mobile phone is very bad. I had ordered my phone just 2 days ago which exploded in my hand while it was on charging and the service center is very far from my place. Neither OnePlus is helping in this. Neither is it giving service nor refund.

Complaint Regarding One Plus 8 Mobile Phone Motherboard Issue After Update
I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the recent issue with my OnePlus 8 Glacial Green 6GB+128GB (Model: IN2011). mobile phone’s motherboard. I visited your service repair store on 22nd October 2024 due to a continuously restarting problem with my device.
After inspection, the service center determined that the motherboard was not working properly due to an update issue from One Plus.
Upon further investigation and research on social media, I discovered that there are numerous complaints from other users experiencing similar problems with their phones after a recent software update from One Plus.
I have personally faced issues in the past as well, including a green line problem caused by a software update which resulted in the replacement of my Screen after a month. This latest incident has truly tested my patience as a loyal customer.
Following the recent update, my phone’s motherboard was damaged. When I reached out to your support team, they acknowledged the issue but only offered a small discount on the repair costs. This is unacceptable to me as a consumer. Why should I have to bear the expenses for something that is clearly a result of a fault on your end?
I am requesting a full resolution to this matter, including a replacement or repair of my device at no additional cost.
I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to your swift response.

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the OnePlus TV (Model: U1555UC1A00INHSN: 85287217IMEI E6210060D19B00151) purchased on March 1, 2023, under the name Aleena Khalid.
On January 2, 2025, the TV began displaying a black line on the screen and eventually stopped working. We filed a complaint on January 3, 2025, but received no response, and the complaint was canceled without any notice. We filed another complaint on January 6, 2025. On January 7, 2025, a service technician named Rajiv Kumar visited and confirmed that the panel needed to be replaced under warranty for an amount of ₹3776, which was paid, and a receipt was provided.
However, on January 13, 2025, the complaint was canceled again. My father contacted Rajiv Kumar, who informed us that another technician would visit and that the amount paid would be refunded. On January 14, 2025, we filed another complaint, which remains unattended to date despite repeated calls to your call center.
This level of service is highly unprofessional and unacceptable. Immediate assistance is required to resolve this issue. If this matter is not addressed promptly, I will be compelled to escalate this issue on social media platforms to highlight the poor service and lack of customer support provided by OnePlus.
