The State Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission has started a helpline number — 022-40293000, where any citizen can call and get the information as well as assistance regarding the process of registering a complaint. Going by the statistics of the commission, there is pendency of nearly 2,200 cases. “Every month, around 75 complaints are received,” a department official said.
